Get The Gloss

It all started with thousands of comments. UK beauty lovers took to Instagram and beauty blog Into the Gloss to lobby for shipments of their most coveted items from Glossier the New York-based beauty brand. It worked! This October the three-year-old company bowed to the crowd and gave them their wish. 

Glossier knows its audience. It gives women the 'beauty products they want, made by the editors who know'. The idea behind the brand is to provide a line of carefully curated modern basics with considered extras. Every product from the Prime Moisturizer to Boy Brow is developed using years of wisdom gleaned from interviews and reviews on their editorial site Into The Gloss. This continuous dialogue drives product innovation in a new, savvy way.

We love Cloud Paint, inspired by NYC sunsets; it's a sheer gel-cream that is so lightweight that you can build your cheek colour for a natural look. In four gorgeous shades, the pigments create a healthy dewy glow with collagen to give a hydrated, plumper look. As Glossier says 'Just dab dab dab!'

Even the products take note at Glossier. Try Eau de parfum Glossier You the 'ultimate personal fragrance.' Not exactly a perfume, this 'skin enhancer' takes your scent and runs with it. So it smells like you, version 2 with a few simple notes made by the fragrance apothecaries who've brought you some of the most cherished scents around.

All these and more at a price that won't leave your credit card smoking. And the creatures also get some consideration, with all products being cruelty-free. So everyone's happy.
